Great brewery, top 5 in all of San Diego IMO (which is known for excellent breweries). Everything's great & food trucks are awesome. Sometimes they have markets, events and yoga or cooking classes. Check in-store regularly for special events (of which, there are many).
Nice, clean, open space with lots of outdoor space. Patio is dog friendly and there’s a Mexican food truck that serves really good tacos!
Nice brewery with a huge outdoor space in the parking lot and ample indoor seating. Solid beers, the IPAs are the stars. We took some home. The Belgian Brew’s were a bit off, just didn’t nail it. Too bad, Belgians are my go to style but difficult to make excellent. Met some friendly folks and chatted for a while. Food truck tacos were very tasty, and they texted when they were done which meant more time with friends and less waiting for food. Dog friendly too.
Really like their stout “The Butcher” and their pale ale “The Statesman” is also delicious. This brewery is tucked away off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. right next to the 163 freeway in Kearny Mesa. There is plenty of parking and a huge tasting room. They have a nice, varied selection of beers that rotate from time to time. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and very clean. They give tours of the brewery often (I think at 4pm on weekdays but don’t quote me). Another cool perk is that they have different food trucks almost every day.
Best Craft Brewery in San Diego. Amazing craft beer, welcoming environment, friendly knowledgeable staff. They offer free brewery tours on Saturdays and weekly rotating food trucks. Family friendly location, equipped with board games for entertainment and dogs are welcome! Well worth the visit!
Brought a baby! Sat outside. The baby didn't drink but the bar staff was still friendly to her. Great indoor or outdoor seating for drinking adults, non-drinking adults, babies, or doggies. Super friendly staff!
Set in an industrial area, Societe Brewing has indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors gives you a view of the in-house brewing process. There are several flat screen TVs, and the employees are great at making a recommendation if you're new to craft brewing or even if you're new to their brewery and an expert drinker. There is a permanent taco truck in the parking lot that caps off the whole Souther California experience. There is nothing better than a frosty beer and some tacos. There is also a trivia night at 6pm on Thursdays. I enjoyed that during my last visit.
Wife and I were looking for a good small local brewery and came across Societe. We found it easy enough and it was very busy, packed tables around a food truck outside, boisterous conversation inside, all of which we took as good signs. We saw that they prided themselves in Belgian beers and started ordering tasters. They don't do flights, just 2 tasters per person. We sampled their Belgian beers, and to our surprise, with how many people were there, we did not enjoy them... we did really like their sours they had, poured from the bottles and we liked their darkest Belgian style beer out of all we tried. So we tried their stouts, very watery and we couldn't finish the tasters... Didn't try their IPAs, maybe they are great, but we didn't want to try anymore. It was also VERY loud and echo-y inside, so if you're sensitive to noise, it could get to you. There were also a few children and dogs there too, so they welcome all!
